V&A Hire supplies setup and teardown crews for Atlanta Market's Winter Market 2027 at AmericasMart in downtown Atlanta. We unpack, build, and merchandise temporary booths in First Finds, reset permanent showrooms before buyers arrive, and pack everything out when the market closes.

When is Atlanta Market in January 2027?

Atlanta Market's Winter Market 2027 at AmericasMart runs January 12 to 17, 2027, for showrooms, open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. First Finds, the temporary exhibits, runs January 13 to 17, open 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., closing at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 17.

Can I use outside labor to set up my First Finds booth?

Outside-labor rules, insurance requirements, and move-in times for temporary booths are set out in the Exhibitor Service Manual in your Atlanta Market exhibitor portal, and Fern Exposition Services is AmericasMart's official service contractor. Send V&A Hire the contractor section of the manual with your request so we work to its rules and deadlines. V&A Hire is insured and provides a certificate of insurance if the market requires one.

What does Fern handle, and what does my crew do?

At Atlanta Market, Fern handles material handling (drayage): freight shipped to the AmericasMart warehouse is delivered to your booth by the first day of move-in, and at close Fern takes your packed crates and boxes to the dock. A V&A Hire crew works inside the booth between those two points: unpacking, setting up, merchandising, and packing out.

Is there a set-up deadline?

Yes. Per Atlanta Market, temporary exhibitors not set up by 2 p.m. on the final day of set-up may forfeit the free vacuuming service. A V&A Hire crew helps you finish early so you are ready before the deadline and before buyers arrive.

What does a V&A Hire crew do for a temporary booth?

A V&A Hire crew for an Atlanta Market temporary booth unpacks your cartons, assembles booth fixtures and shelving, sets and merchandises product, clears packaging, and at close dismantles, repacks, and labels everything for return shipping. Note fragile or heavy product on your request so the crew is briefed for it.

Do you staff permanent showrooms too?

Yes. V&A Hire supplies crews to AmericasMart showroom tenants for pre-market resets: unpacking new collections, moving fixtures, setting displays, and clearing packaging, plus breakdown and restocking after market. Tell us your building's contractor and dock rules on your request and the crew follows them.

How much does Atlanta Market booth labor cost with V&A Hire?

V&A Hire charges a flat $24 per hour per worker for Atlanta Market booth and showroom labor, the same as every other job. Standby, platform, roster hold, and card processing fees, plus a supervisor fee if you choose Managed Labor, are listed separately on your quote, and the full breakdown is below.

What happens if a worker doesn't show up?

Every V&A Hire crew includes standby workers, one for every five on the crew, so a no-show is covered without you making calls. Workers check in by GPS when they arrive, so you can see who is on site in real time, and each worker is briefed by text before the shift with the building, booth or showroom number, call time, and who to report to.

What should I send with my request?

Send your building and booth or showroom number, your move-in window from the exhibitor portal, a layout or photos of past set-ups, a packing list, and how the crew gets badges. Booking early lets us return any contractor paperwork and certificate of insurance before the market's deadline.

What does it cost?

V&A Hire charges a flat $24 per hour per worker for every role. Fees are listed separately on your quote, and the supervisor fee applies only if you choose Managed Labor:

Example, labor only: 2 workers for 8 hours is $384 in labor plus $25 standby, $19.20 platform fee, $20 roster hold, and $13.30 card processing, $461.50 total. With Managed Labor, 5 workers for 8 hours plus a V&A Hire supervisor comes to $1,269.06 total.

Your deposit covers labor, standby, and the roster hold. The remaining balance is due 15 days after the job.

Market dates and hours come from AtlantaMarket.com (Winter Market 2027); Fern and set-up details come from the Atlanta Market exhibitor FAQ. Move-in times and outside-contractor rules are in the Exhibitor Service Manual in your exhibitor portal, so always confirm there. V&A Hire is an independent labor contractor and is not affiliated with Atlanta Market, AmericasMart, ANDMORE, or Fern.
