V&A Hire supplies booth labor for IPPE 2027, the International Production & Processing Expo at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, January 26 to 28, 2027. Our insured crews unpack, build, and set your booth during move-in, then dismantle and pack it for return freight at move-out, working as your registered exhibitor-appointed contractor.
Can I hire outside labor for my IPPE booth?
Yes. The GES work rules for IPPE let exhibitors install and dismantle their booths with qualified display houses or their own personnel instead of the official service contractor, and Georgia is a right-to-work state. V&A Hire can be that outside crew once you register us with GES as your exhibitor-appointed contractor (EAC).
What is the IPPE 2027 EAC deadline?
The IPPE 2027 deadline to submit the Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC) form to GES, including proof of insurance, is January 5, 2027. V&A Hire is insured and provides the certificate of insurance for your EAC form. Per the IPPE calendar, an exhibitor or EAC that is not pre-registered is charged $199 for onsite registration from January 26.
When is IPPE 2027 move-in?
IPPE 2027 targeted move-in starts January 20, 2027, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with installation continuing January 21 to 25 from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Freight movement starts at 8:00 a.m. each day, every exhibit must be set up by 6:00 p.m. on January 25, and booths must be show-ready by 9:00 a.m. on January 26. Your target move-in time is on the GES target schedule in the exhibitor manual.
When is IPPE 2027 move-out?
IPPE 2027 exhibit halls close at 3:00 p.m. on January 28, 2027, and dismantling runs until 11:00 p.m. that night, with no work allowed after 11:00 p.m. Empty crates may not come back until 11:00 p.m., so plan for the crew to finish the next day if needed. Move-out continues January 29 and 30 from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and January 31 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., when GES begins forcing freight.
What can't an outside crew do at IPPE?
At IPPE, GES performs three jobs itself: moving freight between the docks and your booth, all booth cleaning, and all rigging and sign hanging. Order those from GES; the advance-order discount deadline for GES labor and freight is January 5, 2027. A V&A Hire crew handles everything inside the booth once your freight is delivered to it.
What does a V&A Hire crew do at IPPE?
A V&A Hire crew at IPPE unpacks your crates once GES delivers them to your booth, assembles pop-up, tension-fabric, and modular booth structures, sets furniture, counters, and equipment displays, and at close dismantles, packs, and labels everything for return freight. Note heavy equipment or fragile displays on your request so the crew is briefed for them.
How much does IPPE booth labor cost with V&A Hire?
V&A Hire charges a flat $24 per hour per worker for IPPE booth labor, the same as every other job. Standby, platform, roster hold, and card processing fees, plus a supervisor fee if you choose Managed Labor, are listed separately on your quote, and the full breakdown is below.
What happens if a worker doesn't show up?
Every V&A Hire crew includes standby workers, one for every five on the crew, so a no-show is covered without you making calls. Workers check in by GPS when they arrive, so you can see who is on site in real time, and each worker is briefed by text before the shift with the booth number, call time, and who to report to.
What should I send with my request?
Send your booth number and size, booth drawings or setup photos, your GES target move-in time, a crate and packing list, the tools your booth needs, and how the crew gets exhibitor or EAC badges. Request early enough that we can return your EAC paperwork and certificate of insurance before January 5, 2027.
What does it cost?
V&A Hire charges a flat $24 per hour per worker for every role. Fees are listed separately on your quote, and the supervisor fee applies only if you choose Managed Labor:
- V&A Hire on-site supervisor (Managed Labor only): $150 for crews of 1 to 5, $200 for 6 to 15, $250 for 16 or more
- Standby workers: $25 each, one for every five workers (minimum one), so a no-show is covered
- Platform fee: 5% of labor
- Roster hold: $10 per worker
- Card processing: 2.9% + $0.30
Example, labor only: 2 workers for 8 hours is $384 in labor plus $25 standby, $19.20 platform fee, $20 roster hold, and $13.30 card processing, $461.50 total. With Managed Labor, 5 workers for 8 hours plus a V&A Hire supervisor comes to $1,269.06 total.
Your deposit covers labor, standby, and the roster hold. The remaining balance is due 15 days after the job.
